get your act right
Whats up with the post of the MB and its deputy? Why of all people the opposition coalition dont understand about unity at the time like this but is going about with a protest which cause the rakyat to feel uneasy. Making the rakyat question on whether what they did last Saturday was correct. The coalition should pull their stupid act together and sing the bloody same tune. Do not forget for once that if you are divided, you wont be able to form the state government. At a time like this the coalition should come to equilibrium, yes a malay is needed to be an MB on grounds like officiating mosque and so forth but the opposition can compromise to elect two DMB and to be fair we should give it to one chinese and an indian. Thus all races are truly represented by the opposition. What a brilliant idea i came up with. Imagine if they do so, it will give the rulling party a run for their money. At least the rakyat knows they are truly represented by the opposition coalition and might want to reinstate them in the next general election. Infightings will not get you anywhere.
elections and rumours
Election have come and gone. It was my first time voting and it made me feel like some "jakun" at the procedures. I've heard horror stories that although what you vote it is suppose to be a secret, it was noted that prior to this 12th general elections, our ballot papers were tag to our name. Thankfully for the bersih rally(which i didnt know about untill i read it online), it was duly noted by this writer that they didnt tag our ballot papers to our name. And it was quite interesting to see the "see through" ballot boxes with those orange and yellow papers. Btw, what a waste of RM2mio for those indellible ink. I suppose the message was loud and clear looking at the outcome of the election. Thus we have given the opposition a chance because when push come to shove, the rakyat had enough of the shit that was served to us. All the media was singing praises of the government, suddenly the PM decides to announce thaipusam as a public holiday to win the votes of the indian, the union workers in the bank got their pay rise in more than 2 years of arrears etc etc. But the young voters who have access to the internet, got a real taste of freedom of speech from numerous sites. All that little titbit the govn shove to the rakyat faces just before the election didnt deter them. I still dont know whether i have made the right choice in my vote. But i do know, each time i see how the state rulled by the govn waste the taxpayers money by putting up more ornamantel street lamps, i get outraged by it. What a waste of money. Why can't they use it on more useful necessities. Why need horses in a small town when looking after it is much more expensive than a car? Thus i realise that we do need the opposition to voice out this kind of displeasure that we the people feel. Yes, lets give the opposition a chance this coming 5 years. What a shock to learn that zakaria is dead. Rumours have it that he committed suicide thus the reason why his sons and daughters pleaded for forgiveness from whoever. I'm not surprise either that it was reported he died of a heart attack. Tsk tsk..politics is not for the faint heart or you'll die of a coronary attack when one realise that all the kickbacks they receive will be gone over night. I also heard that KJ won after the 5 bags of postal ballot was taken into account as the first round of counting he lost by a slim margin of only 16 votes. I'll leave this entry with a excerpt that i got from this article here http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/79523"They (voters) have no choice. If you don't vote BN, who do you vote for? There are only two candidates. So you vote for the opposition or you don't vote at all. Either way, the BN was going to lose a lot of support."Tun Dr Mahathir
I've never been a fan of the moon movement but i suppose majority share the same sentiment that we must vote for a change and deny the govn a 2/3 majority. Thus the reason why my dad refused to go to the voting hall as he knows he should deny the rulling government majority and its also not his principal to vote on a pro moon movement.
