election fever + v'day gift

The 12th general election is coming up soon and it will be my first time exercising my rights. I'm not sure i feel elated with the fact that the polling station is just located behind my house or due to the fact that politics in this country is a tad in a sad sorry state. The education system has made us into a pro-government voters. I admit that i have always, when i was younger thought that the current government is what the people support. As i grew older, i realised that not everything the government do is right and therefore i realised now why there are opposition supporter around.

Being in this country if you are an opposition supporter there is only so much party you can support. Its a three way triangle or maybe the occasional box (independent party include). Either you will support the moon movement which is so pro islam that i'm afraid they will make the minority races follow their ways. Or you support team rocket which is not that bad i suppose(crap, i have no idea what is the rocket manifesto) or there is the other side where their main propoganda when they established themselves to just oppose the government for throwing the beloved man into ISA.

Yes, this world is not perfect but then again when one read alot of criticism that is being thrown at the government, i wonder why they have not justify their actions. How come they do not come clean in announcing or denouncing what the oppositions slander/rumour/truth. Take for example the party leader SV, he's been an ancient icon for umpteenth years. Didnt want to give up his seat or let his reign go. Why in the world is he so reluctant? i think its about time he retire (he is old anyway). rumour has it that he was/is a gangster (shut up you idiot, or you'll get a hitman that'll give you a headshot like that guy in JB). On the other hand i applaud that the government had established the fact that there is no more exam fees imposed and free text books for students across the nation(no, if you can afford private education, what another few hundreds make a difference in your text books), i am glad that when the issue of the beautiful bridge that were about to be built from johor was stopped, i'm glad that ..uh...crap, is there more?(i have short term memory loss ok, and no, it does not make me ungrateful you critics).

Anyway, i'm not really satisfied that the party that is involved in my area is just between the moon team and the current government. Why cant we have the rocket or the independent party instead. I still haven't made up my mind on which party i want to vote this coming March. choices choices choices (not like i have a million of them right).

On a side note, S had conned CK to a so called "free dinner" and little did CK realised, it was a ceramah cum dinner held by the rocket team in my town on V'day :P.

By the way, i have the best V'day gift in my entire life. wahahahahah. It was what i wanted, but of course i told fuzzy chocolates will do for valentines. When i think about it now, it still made me smile. No, its not a fancy dinner. No, i didnt get 10 bouquest of roses. No, not a diamond ring as i already have one. No, not a marriage proposal either (of course not lah...all the guys have to compete with the billboard proposal guy). I have a Coach wristlet :) . hahahaha, where are the pictures? didnt transfer it out leh. so i cant post the pictures here :) poor fuzzy must be broke, but hey i did him a favour so i told him no need to get me a present for my b'day which is coming up next week.
