Valentine's around the corner and I have a partial idea of what to get fuzzy. Well, it will only be fulfilled if I can get this lazy ass of mine to go shopping or rather out the house. Then again its approaching with me feeling undaunted.

cK's gone to hike up some mountain at the east side of malaysia with all the other outdoor experience as he paid a thousand for this one week trip. Thus wont be seeing him anytime soon this week for mamak. Fulfilled our quota on monday night itself.

I had a weird sms the other day from one of my ex colleague. It seems I took a whole chunk of someone's heart when I left. I thought I told him explicitly that I already have a bf when I first know him. Was told not to break his heart badlyl and be nice to him. Sigh, the way I see it.. if this is going on, I would stay far far away from him.

I got an off hand conversation yesterday. It goes something like this. Not an accurate reproduction.

I heard you got a boyfriend already. Not from XX right?
Yeah..
Very long already?
Er.. about a year plus
So you working nowdays?
Yup.. can say so. Well, I also heard he got a gf already..
Yeah..dunno what he up to. He makes me angry till i want to die. Dunno what you all up to. You guys were fine then this happened
err...
And nowdays he's so busy with work, cant come here.
Oh yeah.. he mention something like that
So anyway, i see you around ok

I'm not sure whether she heard me wrong or answered me wrong. I think it was along the line. Misrepresentation in the conversation itself.

A few of my friends is getting married this year. I suppose as I turn 24, age catches up on you and the marriage bug hits hot couples who are ready to tie the knot and be bonded for the rest of their earthly life. I know I sound optimistic. To me its really a "till death do us part". I'm not sure what will happen if few years in the marriage life and both man and wife argue like crazy. Will we filled for divorce? would we go out separate ways but because of our kids we just stay married? will be have an affair because the love is all gone with the heated arguments? It makes me scared getting married too young. I've seen few of my friends who got married right after school ended up in divorced. Kids would be at the loosing end I suppose. Torn family and divorce issue. Holy matrimony my ass as both claims. Anyway enough of sad stories.

Anyway, we kidnapped S the other day to celebrate his b'day. The best part.. it was just the three of us at scantuary minus bf n gf. Not a bad place but kitchen closes at 11pm when the b'day boy tried to order a plate of thai fried rice. Anyway it was a good night, we had a great time and yes, it wasn't a sober one. S wanted to pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate but the wine list in sanctuary was limited and thus his initial plan was to go to telawi street bistro but we outvoted the b'day boy.

internship review

Two months seems like a pretty short time. I've made more friends or as the other 2 says "its not friends, its colleague. We are friends and your a bitch which explains why you have more guy friends rather than girl friends.Which is a good thing" Coming from those two, they don't exactly mince words which I use to do. Not exactly polite now are they. I know I can be bitchy at times but then again its not something I do often.

Well, two months of internship was a good experience. I had more yumchar sessions in this two months every weekday as its something to do with all the closing time we had. I had fun. I made new "friends/colleague" and I was really sad when it was time to say goodbye as I didnt want to take up the job my boss offer me. At time it made me feel stupid because not even half month into the internship he already offered me and its a MNC with good benefits, great friends and a very cool boss.

I didnt want the job as I meet stupid customers on a daily basis and the sales target was crazy. I was offered a job as a personal banker but with my limited chinese language capabilities, it was a pain in the ass. As I am more adept in cantonese, each time I speak that language, they would ask me if I was from kl. Customers make me feel more stupid when they start complaining in mandarin and somehow I got only a partial understanding of what he was trying to say repeating some of his words trying to understand it somehow by a miracle which when enlightenment did not dawn on me, they would then continue asking or raise their voice in disgust saying " you are a chinese and you dont even understand mandarin?"

Apart from that insult, I get customers who claim the bank are doing an Ah loong business when they do a cash withdrawal from their credit card. Idiotic customers didnt read the fine print on what they sign and when bank charge them daily interest for doing advance cash withdrawal using their credit card, they freak out and then say wanna go police report and cancellation of card and also write in to our local newspaper. Didnt see an article the next day also..bloody big mouth. Thats about it. Report to police? its ok, we got the central bank approval already. Your other bank didnt charge u daily interest as you claim? then go ahead and use that bank cash advance or better still, are you really sure they dont charge you the daily interest rate? customers like this makes me curse after they leave. I also got the " you just a girl, not even a lady. I want to talk to a man about this. Call you branch manager out now" .. I wonder what happen if my branch manager turns out to be a lady?

Anyway I learned alot about banking products. Just consumer banking mind you. A friend offered me a job with a local bank but for investment banking. I am having doubts whether I can handle the corporate customer anot because at the end of the day, those dudes that is working for local bank have to cross sell to customer about consumer banking products.

On the other hand a friend of my complain that maxis reception lately is bad. When i said I dont have any problem, he said maybe I dont make enough phone calls. Call drop and that sort of thing. Anyway when I brought it up with Ck, he asked me which area and thus I cant reply that part. So I asked him back which area you think is call drop prone? he told me areas like bukit tinggi for example cuz population increasing but kl wont be cause they have anticipated the increase like 10years ago. Weird, why should I be bothered? Reminder *Let it go , your at the losing end.*

Time to move to another site soon. But the need to find a url first makes a need to think of one. But first, I need to find a job :P and loose weight fast... Am getting fatter after all the yumchar session with those friends of mine during the internship. Alright, untill the next post. Gotta go.
